New Transvalocean Felixstowe office
now open
Transvalair has opened a dedicated sea freight office with additional warehousing capacity in Felixstowe. Transvalocean, which is part of the Transvalair group of companies, has been set up to provide a dedicated sea freight service to complement the company’s existing air, sea and road freight operations.
Opening a sea freight office in Felixstowe was the next step for the expanding business. Felixstowe is Britain’s largest port and is recognised by customers worldwide for both its import and export capacity.
The new Transvalocean office reflects the company’s increasing volume of sea freight shipments. It also enables Transvalocean to take complete control of all import shipments, from customs clearance through to final delivery, thus speeding up the whole process and improving security.
"Felixstowe is Britain’s largest port and it was a natural progression for us to open an office here," said Charles Devos, Business Development Manager at Transvalair’s Gatwick Office. "Customers really appreciate the benefits that a local office can bring. Having someone on the ground and close to hand provides peace of mind and significantly improves client service levels."
